Hello and thank you for taking the
time to read my bio. I am a designer of women’s,
missy, and girls hand crocheted apparel. I have been designing clothing
since the young age of six years old when I believed I had just invented
the ancient craft of crochet.
Inspired by one of my father’s business associates who hand braided
rugs, I progressed from crocheting doll house rugs to crocheting Barbie
doll clothes, and in later years I designed for my family and friends
both in crochet and couture.
In 1984 I established my own boutique in my hometown on Cape Cod, Massachusetts.
In 1999 I marketed a new line in the International Women’s Boutique
show at the Jacob Javits Convention
Center in New
York City. After a 15 year sales career, I
completed a Bachelors Degree program at the University of Massachusetts
for which I graduated Magna Cum Laude.
I redeveloped my passion for
fashion design after my departure from a sales career and found that I
needed to work at home. Today, I make my works available via the internet
at wholesale prices and in trade shows. My unique hand crocheted and hand
pieced skirts, dresses, sweaters, jackets, vests, capris, and shorts are
made with intense creative zest, which captivates me, as I hope it will
you too.
I am forever grateful to have this
talent especially after I was diagnosed with Post Traumatic Stress
Disorder for which I have recovered thanks to a wonderful talent!
Ciao for now...
